The 3 US Virgin Islands, St. Croix, St. John and St.Thomas were once owned by Denmark and in 1917
these 3 beautiful islands were purchased by the United States.
All 3 islands have much early history and not long ago sugar plantations and cotton were started and
many are still in business today.
St. Croix has much Danish architecture in the towns, and a lot of names will be of Danish origin.
