Welcome To St. Martin

St. Martin and St. Maarten have shared the same island for 350 years and they are the best of
neighbors with each side having their own distinct culture as well as their own cuisine. St. Martin
has some excellent French cuisine and at very reasonable prices, one of the few places where
you can order French food and walk away thinking "What A Deal". The availability of fresh fish and
other seafood is what makes seafood a much ordered item.
Their are many restaurants in St. Martin that have a variety of taste for your enjoyment. On the beach
you will find Lo-Lo's ( kind of a beach bar serving food) this is where you can get the taste of the
real Caribbean cooking which you do not want to miss.
St. Martin has some interesting points of interest:
Fort St. Louis, built in 1767
The Marigot Market, an open air market which is open on Wednesdays and Saturday mornings.
St. Martin Museum, well worth visiting
Marigot (the capital city)
Grand Case, In this area are some of the best restaurants in St. Martin
Colombier, perfect for a beautiful walk
Paradise Peak (Pic Paradise) is 1400 feet high the highest point on the island
Orleans called the French Quarter, a peaceful small fishing village
Some of the activities in St. Martin are: Zip Lining, Horseback Riding, Deep Sea Fishing, Diving
Snorkeling, Sailing, Water Sports, Tennis, Golf, Duty Free Shopping, Casinos and much more.
On the 2 sides of the island there are 37 beaches to choose from.
