Welcome To St. Maarten

St. Maarten is a vacationers paradise with beautiful beaches, casinos, nightclubs, hotels and just about everything else and it is only a 3 hour flight from New York City.
In 1648 St. Maarten was divided between Holland and France, and although English is spoken everywhere, Dutch and French are also spoken on the island. St. Maarten has 2 sides the Dutch side and the French side. The island has a population of about 77,000 people. The 37 square-mile island was discovered by Christopher Columbus in 1493. There are many forts on the island evidence of much fighting in years past.
The weather on St. Maarten is perfect with a year - round temperature of 80 degrees F (27 degrees c) and is sub-
tropical with trade winds from the Caribbean Sea for more information go to: stmaarten.com
St. Maarten has over 50 different dive spots with different skill levels and the water is teeming with life beneath the
