Today was too hot to work so I headed over to Portsmouth, NH. It was over 90 degrees today here in New Hampshire. There is a restaurant in Portsmouth that I have been wanting to try and it is right on the water, all of the surrounding restaurants were crowded with people, and this was a Wednesday. The Old Ferry Landing was almost booked solid but I found a table at the end on the deck. This time of year usually the outside dining areas can be difficult to get seated.
I ordered the lobster roll and fries it was delicious, next time I go back I will try something different, the meals around my table looked so good !
The Old Ferry Landing has been in business for 40 years. The building housing the restaurant originally was a ferryboat terminal. The large wooden beams holding up the roof are original. There is a large seating area on the deck but today Portsmouth had a lot of visitors and of course many locals.
