I have just read about an award winning restaurant and I wanted to pass it on, I have not been to this restaurant which is located in The White Mountains area of New Hampshire. the reviews were excellent, if you are passing through or vacationing in the area, it is worth a stop according to the reviews.

The Mile Away Restaurant located in Milford, New Hampshire was started in 1967 by two gentlemen from Switzerland. The restaurant is attached to a house that was built in 1746, and is one mile from the town center. The restaurant is in a attached barn (1812 ) which was converted to a wonderful restaurant.

I have dined there many times with my family and friends and was always pleased with my meal. Also weddings are available both indoors and tented. Reservations recommended.

Hello Everyone,

Just wanted you to know I am still alive and anxious to continue my search for outdoor dining, it won't be long and I will have some nice places for outdoor dining that you can try.

Some of my favorite places are on the seacoast in NH, MA, RI and Maine will be going up to Montreal in the near future, will report on some restaurants in the beautiful city in Montreal, so much to do up there. A very vibrant city, if you haven't been it is about 5 hours from Manchester, NH. Make sure you have all of the passports of all passengers or you won't get past the border. Before you go do some research on what you want to do, will save you much time. Old Montreal is a delight, don't miss it, hotels are not cheap if you stay just outside the city much better prices !
