Welcome to New Hampshire
This is a brief introduction to New Hampshire followed by some listings of sidewalk restaurants. The state of New Hampshire is in a unique location, we have the ocean, the mountains, (White Mountains National Forest) Mt. Washington highest mountain in the northeast, Many lakes for swimming and boating. Manchester is the largest city in New Hampshire with many fine restaurants and The Verizon Center which has shows all year long and also the Palace Theater with many musical plays etc. Hampton Beach is one hours drive from Manchester ( longer ride during peak summer season unless you leave early in the morning). There are many kinds of restaurants in Hampton Beach especially seafood restaurants with outside dining. There are many party boats and charter boats in the area if you like whale watching or deep sea fishing, and The Hampton Casino has big name concerts during the season. Portsmouth, NH is also along the coast and has a lot of old history and many older homes that date back to the 17th century. In Portsmouth there are tour boats that take you along the coast and point out the history and landmarks of the area. There is boat tours that take you out to the Isle of Shoals (about one hours ride one way) with food on board and drinks. As you can see there is much to do in New Hampshire and I have only touched on just a few things that are special to New Hampshire.
