Welcome To Barbados

Barbados is 21 miles long and 14 miles wide and the population of Barbados is approximately 300,000 people and is a British Colony with the largest city of Bridgetown having a population of about 100,000.
There are many nationalities living in Barbados, immigrants from Guyana, Europeans, Chinese, Lebanese and Syrians and the Jewish people arrived in 1627 and having the oldest Jewish Synagogue in the Americas and the synagogue dating back to 1654.
June to November is hurricane season with cooler weather coming around mid-December. June, July and August is usually hot.
One attraction that is very popular in Barbados is the Atlantis Submarine which is popular with adults and children alike. The night dive is more interesting than the day dive, at night with the lights of the submarine shinning on the
reef is something to see with the fish darting about. The night dive is followed by a cocktail reception with the captain
and the crew joining in the reception and mingling with the passengers. There is also local delicacies for everyone
to try. This is a must see attraction.
